Use this custom sweepstake generator template to simplify the process of running your own sweepstake. Whether it's in the office or in a distributed group in remote locations, sweepstakes can bring people together for a bit of fun.

Setting up the sweepstake generator

Our online sweepstake generator consists of two spinner wheels. On the first wheel you can replace the default list (on the 'Edit' tab) with your own choice of competitors, be it teams/horses/countries/whatever.

On the second wheel you enter the names of the people who will be the participants in the sweepstake. Then you are ready for the allocation.

Run the sweepstake

To generate your custom sweepstake using our kit, all you need to do is follow these steps:

• Press or tap the 'Spin all' button. Both wheels will spin simultaneously and when they stop, the allocation pairing is made. Take note of the this (and they are also stored in the 'Results' tab of each wheel)
• After each wheel has finished spinning, the entries are removed automatically. This is so that they can't be selected more than once. Spin again until all entries from both wheels are removed.

Excess Competitors

Where there are e.g. 32 competitor teams and only 16 people participating, instead of pressing 'Spin all', do this:

• Spin the first wheel two times in a row and select two competitors
• Spin the second wheel once and select one person

Thus, each person will have 2 competitor teams allocated to them.

Excess Participants

If there are eg 32 competitors and 64 people participating, instead of pressing 'Spin all', do this:

• Spin the second wheel two times in a row to select two people
• Spin the first wheel once to select one competitor

This way, one competitor is shared by two people.

Save your sweepstake

Perhaps you want to use your own sweepstake wheels frequently. Thankfully, you are able to save it by simply pressing the 'Save' button. That way, you can come back and all of the editing and custom tweaks that you may have made will still be there.

There is no limit on the number of sweepstakes that you can create and save. And it's all completely free.
